Description
Spiral classifier filters the powder ground in the mill, then screws the coarse material into the feed inlet of the mill by using the spiral vane, and discharges the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.
Features
1)Simple structure: the spiral classifier is simple in design, easy to operate and maintain, and reduces the production cost.
2)Large handling capacity: due to the spiral cleaning principle, there is no need to use a bucket to “fish”, so its handling capacity has been greatly improved.
3) High energy utilization rate: reduces the energy consumption loss of the wheel bucket in the lifting process, so that the energy can be used better and effectively.
4) Small wear, long service life: the wear of some parts is small, and there is no need to increase the screen, which reduces the wear of the screen and prolongs the service life of the equipment.
Advantages
1.Strong adaptability: the spiral classifier has strong adaptability to materials and is suitable for different feeding conditions, especially when classifying wet materials.
2.High classification accuracy: it can accurately control the particle size distribution of materials and meet the requirements of different industries for particle size.
3.Simple operation: Even in the complex mineral processing environment, operators can adjust and control conveniently and quickly.
4.Accurate classification: accurate classification can be carried out according to different particle sizes of materials to achieve different levels of separation effect.

Working Principle
The spiral classifier is based on the principle that solid particles have different sizes and specific gravity, so the settling speed in the liquid is different. Fine ore particles float in the water and overflow, while coarse ore particles sink to the bottom of the tank. A classification device for mechanical classification by pushing the screw to the upper part and discharging it. It can filter the powder ground in the mill, then screw the coarse material into the feed inlet of the mill by using the spiral vane, and discharge the filtered fine material from the overflow pipe.
Application
Spiral classifier is widely used to distribute ore in a closed cycle with a ball mill in a concentrator, or to classify ore and fine mud in a gravity concentrator, to classify ore pulp in a metal beneficiation process, and to desliming and dewatering in ore washing operations.
